PRINCIPLE OF THE TEST

The FeLV+FIV device (rapid test) is a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay. The test device has two different windows, each containing an invisible test and control zone. When the sample is applied to the sample hole, the liquid flows through the pad. If there is a sufficient amount of FIV antibody or FeLV antigen, a line appears in the T zone of the pad. The line in the C zone must always appear for the test to be valid. This device accurately indicates the presence of FeLV antigen or FIV antibodies.
