Terms and conditions of purchase

These conditions regulate the purchase of veterinary genetic analysis packs on this website, provided by Laboratorio Dr. Barba (hereinafter, “the Laboratory”), with contact email clientes@lbbarba.es and phone 91 364 58 35.

1. Purpose

The purchase includes: the sampling kit, the genetic analysis corresponding to the pack purchased, carried out at the Laboratory’s own facilities, and the results report.

2. Orders and payment

To complete an order, you must follow the steps in the purchase process and make the payment using the available methods (card/Bizum/bank transfer). The order is considered confirmed upon acceptance of these conditions and payment of the amount.

3. Prices and taxes

Prices are shown in euros and include applicable taxes. Shipping costs, if any, are shown before completing the purchase.

4. Kit shipping and sample collection

Once the order is confirmed, the sampling kit will be sent to the indicated address. Sample collection instructions are included in the kit. The quality of the analysis depends on the sample being obtained and sent according to these instructions.

5. Results delivery time

The time indicated for each product starts from receipt of the sample at the laboratory under valid analysis conditions.

6. Nature of the service

Genetic analyses are for informational purposes and to support breeding and animal care. They do not constitute a clinical diagnosis and do not replace veterinary consultation. The analysis is performed on the sample received; if the sample is not valid, the Laboratory will contact you to request a new one at no additional cost, provided there is enough material or a new sample is sent.

7. Right of withdrawal

The buyer has 14 calendar days from purchase to withdraw, unless the kit has been used or the analysis has been started, in which case the service is considered executed at the consumer’s request.

8. Data protection

Personal data and samples are processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
