Pack terrier negro ruso: HUU/SLC, DM exón 2 y parálisis laríngea y polineuropatía (JLPP)

Panel multienfermedad para el Terrier negro ruso que agrupa tres pruebas moleculares: hiperuricosuria (HUU/SLC), mielopatía degenerativa (DM exón 2) y parálisis laríngea juvenil y polineuropatía (JLPP). Combina afecciones urinarias, neurológicas y neuromusculares, todas de herencia autosómica recesiva.
Incidencia
Raza aplicable: Terrier negro ruso. La HUU por SLC2A9 está documentada en la raza (Karmi et al., 2010; OMIA:001033-9615), sin prevalencias poblacionales publicadas. La variante SOD1 de la DM es pan-racial y su presencia raza-específica no está establecida. La JLPP por RAB3GAP1 c.743delC está documentada en la raza (Mhlanga-Mutangadura et al., 2016). Frecuencias fiables por país: datos limitados.
Manejo del criador
- Genotipar reproductores antes de la cubrición; el panel cubre tres condiciones en una sola muestra
- Para las condiciones recesivas (HUU, DM, JLPP): no cruzar dos portadores — riesgo del 25 % de homocigotos afectos; portador × libre es seguro si se testa la descendencia destinada a cría
- En homocigotos HUU, recomendar dieta baja en purinas, hidratación abundante y vigilancia urinaria
- Tras un caso clínico confirmado, no repetir el cruce parental y comunicar el estatus al comprador
- Para las condiciones recesivas (HUU, DM, JLPP): no cruzar dos portadores — riesgo del 25 % de homocigotos afectos; portador × libre es seguro si se testa la descendencia destinada a cría
- En homocigotos HUU, recomendar dieta baja en purinas, hidratación abundante y vigilancia urinaria

Notas del especialista
La DM es un diagnóstico de exclusión (descartar compresión medular). La JLPP se sospecha por estridor laríngeo y signos neurológicos en perros jóvenes; el diagnóstico diferencial incluye otras parálisis laríngeas y polineuropatías hereditarias. La HUU se confirma por urianálisis (ácido úrico, urolitos de urato) y se maneja con dieta baja en purinas e hidratación. Verificar que el panel ofrecido corresponde a las variantes aquí descritas.
