Blood collection kit
INTENDED PURPOSE
It allows self-collection of capillary blood samples together with a
compatible sample collection reservoir that is sent to an
accredited laboratory for analysis. For research use only. It
must not be used in diagnostic procedures.
KIT DESCRIPTION
The Tasso+ Kit is a kit that includes the Tasso+ device and all the
supplies needed to collect a blood sample. The device
Tasso+ is a sterile, single-use blood puncture device. When
collecting a sample, the device is held against the skin with a
gentle adhesive. A sterile lancet pierces the skin with just a press of the
button, and at the same time creates a slight vacuum that helps capillary
blood flow by gravity into a compatible tube. After a
predefined period of time, or when the tube is full, the device is
removed from the skin. The tube is removed and capped for transport. The lancet is
single-use and automatically retracts into the device in a
safe position after use.
