DNA – Genetic Identification
Our laboratory is one of those chosen by the Real Sociedad Canina Española (RSCE) to carry out Genetic Identification tests among its members.
1. Go to the RSCE website
Go to the section > DNA – Genetic Identification: www.rsce.es/adn-identificacion-genetica/
2. Complete the pre-registration
Fill in the details requested.
3. Confirmation and QR code
If you have completed the pre-registration correctly, you will receive a confirmation by email with a QR code (which you must take to the vet when the sample is taken).
4. Complete our laboratory’s form
Complete the “client form” shown below.
5. Sending of the kit for the DNA sample
Once we have your “Client Form”, our laboratory will send you the kits for the DNA samples you have requested.
6. Sample collection
Once the sample has been taken, we will collect it. Do not forget to attach the documents that the vet must download:

- Document with the QR and the dogs’ details

7. Sending of results
We will send the test results to our client by email.
8. Registration in the RSCE registry
Our laboratory will carry out the registration of the DNA with the RSCE.
Kit contents

- Bag for placing the sample.
- Instructions for sample collection.
- Documentation to send with the sample.
- A small tube for blood/EDTA (purple cap).
