Pack Shiba inu : GM1-gangliosidose, GM2-gangliosidose, A-locus et E-locus

Panel multimaladie pour le Shiba inu regroupant quatre tests moléculaires : gangliosidose GM1 (GLB1), gangliosidose GM2 (HEXB) et deux loci de robe —A-locus (ASIP) et E-locus (MC1R, allèle e1)—. Il combine deux maladies neurométaboliques graves, toutes deux autosomiques récessives et létales à l'état homozygote, avec deux marqueurs de robe utiles à l'élevage.
Incidence
Race concernée : Shiba inu. GM1 (GLB1) : fréquence de porteurs d'environ 1-3 % décrite au Japon (Uddin et al., 2013 ; PMID 23819787) ; hors du Japon, données limitées. GM2 (HEXB) : variante rare mais distribuée (Kolicheski 2017 ; Wang 2018), sans chiffres fiables de fréquence. A-locus et E-locus : caractères de robe sans fréquence populationnelle publiée de manière systématique (données limitées).
Conseils d'élevage
- Génotyper les reproducteurs avant la saillie ; le panel couvre quatre conditions/marqueurs sur un seul échantillon\n- Pour GM1 et GM2 (récessives) : ne pas croiser deux porteurs — risque de 25 % d'homozygotes atteints ; porteur×indemne est sûr pour la descendance destinée à l'élevage si elle est testée\n- Pour A- et E-locus : ils orientent la prévision de la robe ; ils n'impliquent pas de maladie, mais informent l'acheteur sur la génétique de la couleur\n- Après un cas clinique confirmé, ne pas répéter le croisement parental et communiquer le statut à l'acheteur

Vérifier le panel exact offert par chaque laboratoire. Les gangliosidoses sont diagnostiquées par l'activité enzymatique dans les leucocytes et le test moléculaire ; le diagnostic différentiel inclut d'autres encéphalopathies progressives du chiot. A- et E-locus ne prédisent pas de maladie ; informer l'acheteur de leur caractère descriptif.
